Dorcas R. Hardy Memorial Fund

Dorcas R. Hardy (1946 - 2019) was the founding President of the Board of Directors when the Friends of Eagle Island was created, and ably led Board meetings to strategize and organize the effort to save Eagle Island. Dorcas served in that capacity from 2011 to 2015. We thank Dorcas for her confidence, for her optimism, and for her seminal role in preventing the rapid disposition of the island and in creating the conditions for Eagle Island, Inc. to succeed.
