Dan's family has deep ties to Eagle Island. His wife, Lauren
Parmington, is an Eagle Island alumna who returns each summer to teach
sailing, and their daughter, Penelope, is a current camper on the
island. The family splits its time between New York City and their
camp on Upper Saranac Lake, just across the water. Dan brings more
than twenty years of experience investing, structuring, and founding
companies. He is currently Head of Structured Finance at Cadma,
Apollo's credit platform serving the venture ecosystem. He holds a
dual B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy from UC Berkeley and an M.A.
in Philosophy from Stanford University, and was a Ph.D. candidate in
Mathematics and Computer Science at Université de Paris 7 – Denis
Diderot.
