Andria Danielle Matthews, M.D., M.P.H., a resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, is a board-certified family physician providing full-scope primary care to families in Hartford, Connecticut. She is Core Faculty at the UConn Family Medicine Residency Program, where she teaches medical students and residents, co-chairs the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and contributes to curriculum development focused on DEI and anti-racism. A graduate of Yale University, where she earned a B.A. in History, and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. and M.P.H., Andria is passionate about diversifying the medical field and eliminating health disparities. She was an Eagle Island camper and counselor and recently volunteered as interim Health Director, bringing her two daughters—current campers!
