Allison Grill is an Eagle Island alum (camper 1996–2003, staff 2004, 2008) and educator with over 15 years of experience. After earning a BA in sociology from Skidmore College, she worked in outdoor education in California, including curriculum development and residential teaching in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She later earned a MA in Education and a California teaching credential and has since worked in Oakland public schools, focusing on trauma-informed practices. Allison is also a dedicated labor organizer and advocate for equitable, well-funded schools. She brings a strong commitment to Eagle Island and deep expertise in education to the board.
